XingShi Jin, name at birth AisingiorroJianguo, was born in Beijing in 1963. He studied under XIAO Lao, a famous Chinese classical poetry, well-known calligrapher，and YAO Youduo, Professor at Central Academy of Fine arts in China, etc. In 1987,he studied in Japan, and then graduated from the Japanese painting department of Musashino Art University. He works in Japanese TV Cultural Center, as a full-time teacher of modern Chinese wash and ink painting, mineral ink and color painting. He is the only Chinese artist who is continuously introduced by the famous magazine “Modern Japanese Art Yearbook” for 10 years in Japan.
JIN has been awarded Recognition Award of Chinese Heavy Color Painting Exhibition, and Mineral Color Painting Exhibition of China, as well as the Honorary President Prize of Modern Yokohama Gallery, etc. During his stay in Japan, he had held more than 60 times solo and group exhibitions in the galleries of Tokyo and Yokohama and other big cities in Japan as well aw in China. He was also invited to participate Japanese- Taiwan Wash and Ink Painter Selection Exhibition and be the examiner of exhibition. Furthermore, he attended exhibitions in The National Art Center in Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and Modern Wash and Ink Painter Special Exhibition. In China, he had been invited to participate The 1st Overseas Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition, Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for 30 years’ Chinese Reformation and Opening-up, Overseas Chinese Painting and Calligraphy of the 65th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China, 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the People’s Republic of China and Japan, Mount Huangshan Special Exhibition of Remarkable Person and Astonishing Calligraphy, etc. In2015, he was invited to participate in the “Dream from the East New Tokyo Exhibition” in National Art Museum of China. He used to participate in the international galleries’ Recommendation Exhibitions in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou, etc. In 2016, his works was sold by auction at Poly Auction. The painter had been to the Arctic pole, the Antarctic pole, Tibet, Xinjiang, Dunhuang, Mount Huangshan, Zhangjiajie and other places and created a series of live drawing works about these areas. He published personal album of paintings, Xingmo albums, etc.
